Truly was a long and exhausting trip but all worth it, the views of the Grand Canyon was just spectacular. Also worth mentioning was our coach driver on Bus 24, Kenny. Such an awesome guy and his sense of humor made the trip so pleasant!

This was our second trip to the Grand Canyon South Rim with SweetTours! You have plenty of choices for tours from Las Vegas, but if want to be sure to have the best time, do yourself a favor and book with this company. Our pick up from the Excalibur was right on time. We were given a nice breakfast bag, with plenty of goodies to start our long day, as well as ice cold water throughout the trip. Our driver, Kenny, on bus #24 was very nice, as well as informative. After viewing the Hoover Dam along the way, we then made a stop along Rt 66, with plenty of things to see and a take photos of. Love those quaint little old towns! Made another stop in AZ and received our packed deli lunches (we chose the roast beef and it was delicious), along with several other goodies to go along with it. We arrived at the Grand Canyon to beautiful sunshine and awesome views. We were tired by the time we got back to our hotel, but "Thank You Kenny" for an enjoyable trip to the Canyon! PS The I Love Grand Canyon Sweetours magnets were a nice souvenir in our lunch boxes too!

We took this tour this past Friday, I don't usually write reviews, but this tour was so bad I felt I needed to write one now. We knew starting out that it was a 5 hour bus ride down & back. What we didn't know was that it was actually a 7 hour bus ride down, leaving us less than 3 hours at the Grand Canyon. We stopped 3 times on the way down with 3 to 5 other bus loads of people (all from the same tour company so it could have been managed differently) most of this time was spent waiting in line for the bath room or the check out counter. There was no time for any site seeing which was supposedly why we stopped. The tour guide was annoying to say the least, he droned on about who knows what for most of the trip down, repeating himself several times. The two movies he showed was a relief. The bathroom on the bus was dirty when we left & there was no hand sanitizer (even outdoor out houses have this now) and there were several seats that were broken on the bus. We were served our breakfast at 7:30 and our lunch at 10:00 am. When we finally arrived at the Grand Canyon we discovered that the busses park at the other end of the park from the visitor's center & we had to take a trolley to the visitors center (another 40 minute ride or so (one way)) & the other trolleys in order to see the Canyon. This left us with less than 2 hours to see the Canyon & explore any gifts shops. We were rushed because "someone had show tickets" & "someone had to catch a flight". It doesn't seem fair to the rest of us to be rushed for a couple of people who didn't plan their day correctly. This rushing included driving faster on the highway, so much that the bus was swaying especially around corners. Then drop off was in the back of the hotels, not at a door where there was lights. Bottom line is I would never take a tour with this company again nor would I recommend it.
