Your guide will provide you with some suggested itineraries to help maximize your time here. Tour operates on Mondays and Wednesdays only.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

I must first start this by saying the sight Grand Canyon south rim was beautiful, however, the man who drove the bus was terrible. It was an African American male, in his early forties, balding who drove the bus on the way down for this tour. He was trying to be funny but the entire way to the canyon he kept saying how we were all crazy for wanting to leave Vegas to see a hole in the ground, he also belittled everyone on the bus during each stop prefacing that he's "been here a million times it doesn't matter to me what you do," in a demeaning tone. The attitude of "I'm better" is unnecessary to people who have paid hundreds to head on this tour. The Canyon was beautiful but do NOT use sweet tours and if this guy is your driver ask to take another bus trust me! Also he talks too much for 6:00am when people are waking up and wanting to relax on the ride down. Again, the Canyon was wonderful, this driver has got to go!

This was an excellent day trip. When in Vegas, you should definitely put aside a day for this. Our driver/tour guide Wally added a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to the trip which made it even better than what it would have been anyways already.

We planned this trip for months to see the Hoover Dam and South Rim of the Grand Canyon, this was a full day of sightseeing and we decided on SweeTours, Inc., from Las Vegas. To start the day, we were picked up from our hotel at 6:45 in the morning to a check-in starting point. At this location Wally our driver and guide proceeded to give us our continental breakfast of muffins, a bar, banana, juice, water and hot coffee. The bus was clean and comfortable! Wally was our driver as we left Vegas at 7:30, for our 1st of several stops before getting to the Grand Canyon. Wally was very knowledgeable and a good driver. Our first stop was at the Hoover Dam one of which is a MARVELOUS Monument. We stop for 30 minutes to take pictures. Back on the bus, about an hour and half down the road to a convenience store where we pick up Melissa another driver. We used the restrooms, brought items from store and was given our packed lunch of Deli style sandwiches choices of Turkey, Roast Beef, Ham with condiments and drinks then continue onto Route 66 store where they was filming. When we arrived at the Canyon, Wally advised us of the South Rim of Grand Canyon stating plenty of sites to see and explore from here. Bright Angel trail, Visitor Center Hotels, Lodges, and Gift Shops all here on the South Rim and it takes about 1hour to 45 minutes to walk. What can I say but Awesome, Amazing, Fantastic views, we saw deer crossing the road and various animals. The drive back was smooth; we stopped again at the convenience store to drop off Melissa outstanding driver who got us safely to the Canyon and to Wally our driver the kindest person and tour guide very knowledgeable who care about us. Wally dropped us off at our hotels back in Vegas. Thank You! Excellent Tour!!
