Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

A massive shout out to Wally our driver and tour guide, we had a wonderful time and his knowledge and rapport made the long journey really enjoyable. We arrived in the middle of a snow storm (really) which he confidently predicted would pass through, which it did after about 30 mins. The views were amazing as expected and photos don't do it real justice. Overall, especially with the snow, it was a unique and thoroughly unforgettable experience.

What a great, stress-free experience we had for our visit to the Grand Canyon. Hotel pick up and drop off was easy. Our guide, Wally, was wonderful. He worked hard to ensure guests had plenty of comfort breaks, knew when to return to the bus and shared his knowledge and history of the area which added to the experience. There was plenty of food provided for breakfast and lunch and we did not need to purchase anything additional. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, bring sunscreen and phone or camera to take pictures. I brought a larger bag with tissues, a book to read if bored on the bus and it also served me well to hold the extra food I did not eat immediately. I left it on the bus when we got off and had no issues. Please share with Wally our thanks for a great day.

What an incredible day. our driver/tour guide was Anthony: the best...and quite knowledgeable/entertaining. Our couple of suggestions: coffee and breakfast snack is provided (as well as the listed lunch). Although a shuttle bus picked us up at 6:40am, we were taken to the bus station where people from various hotels were brought. We finally boarded the bus about 7:30am and were on our way. It is advertised as a 13 hour tour which was correct (once we left the station, not our hotel). Also, be aware that the 13 hours was the time we would arrive back at the strip. It could take up to another hour before you were dropped off at your specific hotel. Although a bit exhausting, we would recommend this to all!
