Grand Canyon South Rim

Enjoy the views from Grand Canyon National Park and explore the canyon on a light hike on the Trail of Time, on the edge of the canyon. During your explorations, visit Yavapai Point, Yavapai Geology Museum, Verkamp's Visitor Center, Bright Angel, Hopi House and many more stunning view point of one of the natural seven wonders of the world.

Route 66 Motoporium

Drive on the famous Route 66, the mother road that unites the eastern and western coasts of the United States. Here, admire a varied collection of vintage cars, walk through history, take pictures and create memories.

Hoover Dam

Admire the incredible architecture of one of the most amazing dams in the world. Drive atop of the dam, learn about the unique history from your guide and take stunning pictures. From our stop on the dam, you will also have the great opportunity to admire the Mike O'Callaghan- Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, rising 890 feet above the Colorado River.

Strongly recommended in Las Vegas, Grand Canyon south rim is the best, with stops in Hoover Dam and Route 66. Our driver, Claudiu and tour guide Anca were so accommodating, one of them, an extra stop to view Lake Mead at sunrise on the way to Hoover Dam. We were given lots of snacks, fruits, refreshments and hot lunch on the way to the Grand Canyon. These two made a great team, they gave us lots of info and Anca stayed with us on the trail, we were never rushed and reminded us of the safety on the trail ,and they even took our pictures. Claudiu got us back safely to Las Vegas and Anca gave us lots of information of places and what to do in Las Vegas. a friend of mine advised me to book a tour and leave the driving to them, good thing I took his advise, Claudiu and Anca have the expertise and provided lots of info while we enjoyed the scenery.

We researched on the internet, including Tripadvisor and decided on this tour. A major reason is that they offered to go to the South Rim from Las Vegas (rather than the West Rim). The West Rim is much closer but not as developed and not as deep. Although it was a long day, I would recommend going to South Rim. Our driver Claudio picked us up from our hotel at 5:30 am. It was early but we soon found out why. Our first stop was the Hoover Dam and we were the only ones there! It was like we had the whole place to ourselves. Claudio does so many of these tours so he knows if any later, there will be tonnes of tour buses and people. There were only 4 people on our tour so it was almost like a private tour. Be warned: it is long drive to South Rim (like 5 hours) but we got to see the Hoover Dam and Claudio has bathroom and lunch breaks. We got to Grand Canyon by about 11 am but there was already a line up. Claudio knew how to manoeuvre to get us past some of the line. I am so glad he was driving instead of me as I would have just been stuck in traffic. Instead, we got into the park in around 15 minutes and has 1.5 to 2 hours there. He dropped us off at a scenic spot and then we walked to the village. It was about a 45 minute paved trail and it was spectacular. Words, photos, videos do not describe the wonder of the Grand Canyon. We had plenty of time and by the time we left the park, we could see ridiculous lineups. On the way back to Vegas, we stopped by Selignman on Route 66. I am not a big car guy so we just took a few pictures here. Not really significant anymore and just a tourist place but pretty run down. Claudio got us back to Vegas around 5:30/6 pm. Again going back to Vegas, he knew the quickest routes and if I was driving I would be stuck in traffic and probably would have wasted 1-2 hours in just wait time. Claudio is not overly talkative but will engage when you want to engage so very calm and not overly aggressive, which I liked. I thought it was an excellent tour but it is a long day and a long drive. However, well worth it to see the Grand Canyon. See my full review of our day on my Youtube channel

Claudiu was fantastic, this was a small group which is perfect. He had plenty of drinks and snacks if needed for the journey and we stopped every hour or so for comfort breaks. He gave good information about each destination and walked with us on the Grand Canyon tour. Everyone had a fantastic day. You would not regret booking this with Claudiu.
