What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

Your tour starts from your Flagstaff hotel with morning pickup by a knowledgeable, informative local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of the geology and natural history explanations of how the Grand Canyon came to be.

Wonderful tour. We were picked up at our hotel in Williams right on time. Any questions we asked on the trip up were answered by our guide Keaton. We learned so much . Viewed the Canyon from many different places around the rim. We especially enjoyed our lunch at the edge of the canyon and the explanation of the different rock that makes up the layers of this awesome wonder of nature. Also learned about the people who inhabited this area many years ago. We are so glad we took this tour as we only had one day there to see it all and we feel like we did We also enjoyed the handouts given out. Thank you to Keaton who did a wonderful job. We enjoyed it so much

Dave’s Canyon Tours was very well organized, and our guide, Tim, was outstanding! I went with two friends, there were four others in our group. Tim was energetic and highly engaged, and he spoke fluently, sharing an amazing range of information. No problems hearing him either, even in the back of the van. See if you can ask for him specifically. To anyone wondering if they want to spring for the cost of a tour, definitely do it. Besides the convenience of letting someone else do the driving, there is the educational aspect that deepens ones enjoyment.
