Your tour starts from your Flagstaff hotel with morning pickup by a knowledgeable, informative local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of the geology and natural history explanations of how the Grand Canyon came to be.

This tour was absolutely amazing and 100% worth every penny! Leo and Emmi were wonderful guides. Even our lunch was fabulous. Leo is an incredible vault of knowledge. They were both very proud to work for Canyon Dave. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Canyon for the first time.

We had a great tour of the Grand Canyon thanks to Tim. He was very knowledgeable and made our tour feel very personal as there were only three groups of us and he managed to take us to all the spots without the big crowds. Learning about and seeing the area was a once in a lifetime thing to do and something we highly recommend.

Simply Awesome! It is a small group tour! From their motto to their exquisite customer care, knowledgeable staff (Leo), pick up to drop off, handouts, choice of stops, it was fantastic! Dave (owner) has written a few books and used to teach I believe geology at the University and is very picky about his guides. You will learn a lot and if you have teenagers/kids they would enjoy a lot as well! I told them that they should mention that this is a small group tour! Because we were only three people with the guide for the whole day. They will accomodate you and do the tour even if you are the only person booked. Shout out to Dave for starting this company and Leo (whose enthusiasm shines through…!) Best, Ruby
