Bought bus tour tickets along with 20 other people. Bus drivers including the bus supervisor refused to take any other tours out. Customer service at tour counter did not want to deal with 25 angry customers so closed down the counter pawning off to other employees only to be forced to ā€œdealā€ with the problem. No apologies. Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Find another tour to take, apparently they donā€™t care about customer service here.

This place is a huge ripoff. Bought tickets online so saved a couple of $$. When you arrive of course there is a line because; A. the "locker room" is too small to accommodate a large number of people, remember you can't take a cell phone for "your own safety", and B. there is a line of people waiting to have their $25 photo taken on the skywalk. We skipped the photo line and went directly out on the skywalk. Nice view, kind of cool in it's uniqueness, but not worth $70 ea. Staff at the information desk could not care less if they talked to you, basically ignored me so I asked my question of a sales person, who was very pleasant. Another staffer snapped at me when I tried to go through a wrong door, after all there were no signs indicating where to enter. Long lines to the buses, I would not visit in the summer as I can imagine what it would be like in the summer heat waiting everywhere you go. The gift shop is poorly stocked, prices are not bad but you would think they might have post cards or photos taken from the skywalk, no can't have that because that might dip into their photo income from the skywalk! Food is certainly not worth the price. Some bus tours had meals included, I can only guess what that cost them. Views from Eagle point are not good, Guano point a little better, but if you want tremendous views go to the south entrance, a longer trip but very well worth it. The zipline stop was less than exciting. The zipline doesn't operate in October but you could stop and eat, visit the "art gallery" or visit the gift shop. The art gallery had nothing original, all reproductions and the room was about 10' x 20' so not big. The gift shop was full of mass produced novelty items, I was afraid to look on the bottom to see where they were made. All in all, you get the feeling that all they want is your money and unless the skywalk is on your bucket list, make plans to visit the south rim, that is a tremendous experience.

The skywalk was much shorter than I expected. The pretty red rocks are on the south side so I didn't see what I was expecting. I still enjoyed my trip
