Eagle Point

Eagle Point, named after a natural rock formation resembling an eagle, is a destination where you can immerse yourself in Native American culture through dance, self-guided tours, and shopping. Traditionally, the most thrilling view of the Grand Canyon came from standing at its edge. However, in 2007, the experience was enhanced with the opening of the Skywalk at Eagle Point. This 10-foot-wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extends 70 feet out over the canyon rim, offering a breathtaking view through the glass platform 4,000 feet down to the canyon floor. Guano Point

Experience the thrill of living on the edge when you visit Guano Point, one of the most dramatic viewpoints in the Grand Canyon. This location offers more than just a quick stop; it invites you to take the "High Point Hike" for stunning, 360-degree views of the Grand Canyon and Colorado River. Be cautious as you explore, as many areas are without railings. Discover the remnants of a historic tram that once spanned 8,800 feet across the canyon to a guano mine. Enjoy dining right on the edge of the canyon at Guano Deli, and browse Native American jewelry and crafts while engaging with Tribal Members at the Hualapai Market.

Dear Angela We arrived safely back in South Africa yesterday evening. Thank you very much for a wonderful Grand Canyon Tour. It was such a wonderful gesture to upgrade our tour to a private tour. Jay was a great tour guide and gave us a lot of additional information and insights. We enjoyed all his efforts around taking pictures – some of them in very funny positions that made us all laugh a lot. On a very hot day it was certainly a great luxury to have a private vehicle take us around – and we truly appreciated Jay’s efforts to keep us hydrated with the ice water! I am glad we did the helicopter into the canyon as an add on – all very much part of the magic of the day. Your day trip saved the Las Vegas part of our tour. Our ITravel private tour with Jay was amazing from start to finish! Jay was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of each of the places we travelled to, beginning with the history of Las Vegas. After leaving Vegas, our first stop was the Hoover Dam, where he stopped at perfect photo op spots and gave us a wealth of information about the dam’s history. Next stop was the Joshua Tree forest where we took a short hike of the area and got our first taste of Jay’s talents as a photographer. Then, onto the Grand Canyon, where his photographer talents and knowledge of the area truly shined. Jay was interesting, knowledgeable, and so engaging throughout the entire tour. The car that we travelled in was impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. I would highly recommend ITravel, especially if Jay is your tour guide.
