I would really recommend taking a tour from Guideline Tours. I took their Grand City Tour with Universal Studios Combo package. I was in town for a limited amount of time so I needed to pack everything into one day. Initiallly I was worried that doing the City Tour & Universal studios was too much for one day. Quite the opposite actually! Our tour guide, Tim, was such a professional and entertaining tour guide! We covered Downtown LA, Hollywood & Highland, Sunset Strip, and Rodeo Drive. We even passed by numerous movie stars' homes! Not once did I feel that the tour was rushed or scripted. Tim provided a lot of insights into Los Angeles and its history. I had such a fantastic time.

We had a fantastic day. Our guide was just absolutely amazing. Had bid and worked in LA for over 40 years and was well acquainted with everything that goes on in LA. Was knowledgeable and explained in an excellent way everything we went through on the trip. The 5 hour trip was just the right length and ended with a trip to the Farmers Market before we were driven back to the hotel.
