Excellent show. Lee Greenwood came and helped give wounded warriors a key yo a home. It was Bass Pro Shop’s 50th anniversary. The line up was fantastic.

We are not sure why the people at the Opry think it is ok to give us hours, yes, literally hours of advertising after we paid about $100 for a ticket. It was mentioned that it was a sold out show with 4400 seats filled... if I do the math... it seems that they would make enough money from ticket sales to not treat its audience so incredibly disrespectfully. If they had advertised that it was going to be half music and half corporate shilling or event we never would have bought the tickets. As avid country music fans who came all the way to Nashville solely to see a show there, we were completely shocked. We asked the people to the left and right of us if they'd been before and if this kind of advertising is normal. The couple to our left said yeah it's the price we pay and laughed and the person to the right of us confirmed that it is usually about half advertising and half music. Perhaps an older crowd, accustomed to having to sit through commercials may be ok with this. I would never subscribe or willingly sit through such an ordeal. We left feeling not only disappointed and disrespected but also angry. How is it that other venues thrive on ticket sales without such shenanigans? We will be going home and telling people to avoid it in the future. What a shame.

My wife, son and I attended the 9:30pm Saturday show. The line was long but once we got in things ran smoothly. It was a great experience... lots of performers and a great variety. It was fun to be "on the radio." We really enjoyed the show and we would attend again
