Performance times are 10AM, 3 PM AND/OR 8 PM depending on the day. We are located at 3455 W. 76, Branson MO, 65616 AMAZING ACROBATS OF SHANGHAI takes audiences on an enchanting journey through the orient with beautiful costumes, scenery, and the unbelievable art of acrobatics at the Grand Shanghai Theatre. Each performer brings to the stage their own unique training and talent; from precision skating to foot juggling, aerial acrobatics, human strength to the flight of the butterfly lovers. All ages will be delighted by the breathtaking performances, edge of your seat thrills, and lighthearted laughter. Amazing Acrobats of Shanghai is a treat for both the mind and soul. Absolutely nothing unique about this show. If you have seen a couple of cirque shows then you have seen everything that is pretty much in this show. I didn't really care for it. The MC came out and looked like a high school kid the way he was dressed and with floppy sneakers. He did not give the impression that this was going to be a legit show; in fact, he gives a terrible first impression in my mind. I didn't really like his acerbic humor either nor his bit in the second half where he was hammering a 4" nail up his nose with a hammer. Totally and completely needless, t say nothing of its inappropriateness. That is all you really need to know about this show. It was disgusting and then he yells (jokingly) at a woman for not looking. Also the lyrics for one song was totally inappropriate. If I heard it right it talked about being shot in the face. There are a lot better options. Although I did hear a young boy about 10 years old talking about how he loved the show. Perhaps this show will be more appealing to the younger crowd but I found it to be tedious and boring.

This was a good show. There were about 8 performers and some were much better than others. FYI this is not at all like the Chinese acrobatics that I had seen before and was glad I was warned they aren't the same so I would not be disappointed. Favorite was the Chinese yoyo performer
