Performance times are 10AM, 3 PM AND/OR 8 PM depending on the day. We are located at 3455 W. 76, Branson MO, 65616 AMAZING ACROBATS OF SHANGHAI takes audiences on an enchanting journey through the orient with beautiful costumes, scenery, and the unbelievable art of acrobatics at the Grand Shanghai Theatre. Each performer brings to the stage their own unique training and talent; from precision skating to foot juggling, aerial acrobatics, human strength to the flight of the butterfly lovers. All ages will be delighted by the breathtaking performances, edge of your seat thrills, and lighthearted laughter. Amazing Acrobats of Shanghai is a treat for both the mind and soul. This show is not what it used to be and not what we had expected. My husband and I went to see the acrobats many years ago and thought it was spectacular so we wanted to take our children this year. Unfortunately, this show is nothing like the acrobats we remembered. The “Shanghai Circus” is composed of about 8 young people who each do their own stunts. There is little collaboration amongst the team during their “tricks” and the show felt more like a talent show or variety show with all the random acts. There is a lot of dancing and attempts at comedy. The host, Ziggy, does random stunts and a tiny bit of “magic” although the stage is completely dark so it is not very impressive. There are some guys that do some flips, a girl that does some contortionist things and hangs from a ring, a girl that does a hula hoop routine, Chinese yo-yo guy, juggling hats, and a strong man that twirls and does tricks from hanging ribbons. Each of the performers are certainly talented in what they do-I just feel like this show was thrown together and it’s nothing like the spectacular, amazing acrobats I remember. Perhaps they should consider renaming this show or have some advertising so people know what they are actually buying tickets for. We saw the 2:00pm show and it was over by 3:30. I appreciated the family price of the ticket purchases online, but overall wish I would have spent money on a different show.

Truly amazing! And a lot of fun. The host was hilarious and the acrobats twisted and contorted and did things that defy imagination!
