What To Expect
1
Grand Teton
The majestic, awe-inspiring Teton Mountain Range of the Rockies is the western edge of Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. With no foothills before them, these rugged 11,000-13,000+ peaks rise straight up from the Jackson Hole valley below.
2
T.A. Moulton Barn
Capture a shot of the iconic Moulton Barn with Tetons in the background. Kids will be thrilled to see the numerous Uinta ground squirrels running about.
3
Mormon Row Historic District
This historic area features the iconic Moulton barns and other original structures built by several Mormon homesteaders in the early 1900s.
4
Oxbow Bend
This bend in the Snake River is the definition of serenity, featuring a stunning view and reflection of Mt. Moran of the Teton Mountain Range in the still water. We often see white pelicans, trumpeter swans, blue herons and occasionally beaver, fox and grizzly bears.
5
Jackson Lake
Fed by the Snake River from the north, this magnificent lake rests at the base of the Tetons and is a recreational haven for boaters, fishermen, paddlers and campers.
6
Jenny Lake
Named after a Shoshone Indian woman, this glacial moraine jewel at the base of the Tetons is absolutely gorgeous. From May 15-Sept 30, you'll experience a boat ride on the lake with an optional non-guided 1 mile hike to Hidden Falls.

This tour was the best!! I got lucky & there was only one other person on the tour, so it was basically a private tour. Chris was our guide, and he was great! The day started off cloudy, with a call from another guide telling us there was a bear sighting nearby. Chris had planned to go a different route, but if there's a bear sighting, plans change! After that, he continued on a different route than he originally planned, but it turned out perfect as we got to see a moose that was close by, and more bears that were very close! It was amazing! While many people continued to stand around as the bears came closer, Chris knew when it was time for us to safely view the bears from inside the van instead, which I really appreciated. We watched them for quite a while. Of course with wildlife, it's always unpredictable, and there's no telling where they will be, so it was great that Chris was able to be so flexible! After a while, the clouds went away, and the sun came out, and the view of the beautiful Tetons came out. Thank you mother nature. We did a boat ride across Jenny Lake & saw a beautiful waterfall, and a fox nearby! Spent time at Signal Point, which had the perfect view of the beautiful mountains. Chris was very personable, knowledgeable and fun. He also helped take great photos for us. I feel like a lot of people see Yellowstone & skip Grand Tetons, but this National Park is really not to be missed! It was such a memorable day. I can't say enough good things about Yellowstone Day Tours & Chris. Definitely recommended!!

Chris “See Something, Say Something” We had so much fun on this tour. Our guide Chris was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. We are thankful for the extra pit stop to Colter Bay and the picnic lunch at the lake. On our way back we got to see a wolf which is rare. We had went on the Yellowstone tour the day before and spotted the wolf. We got to see a rare find twice! This tour is a must do on your itinerary. Rachel, Jennifer, Amber (Bear 399’s other 3 Cubs)
