What To Expect

Grand Teton

The majestic, awe-inspiring Teton Mountain Range of the Rockies is the western edge of Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. With no foothills before them, these rugged 11,000-13,000+ peaks rise straight up from the Jackson Hole valley below.

Mormon Row Historic District

This historic area features the iconic Moulton barns and other original structures built by several Mormon homesteaders in the early 1900s.

Oxbow Bend

This bend in the Snake River is the definition of serenity, featuring a stunning view and reflection of Mt. Moran of the Teton Mountain Range in the still water. We often see white pelicans, trumpeter swans, blue herons and occasionally beaver, fox and grizzly bears.

Jackson Lake

Fed by the Snake River from the north, this magnificent lake rests at the base of the Tetons and is a recreational haven for boaters, fishermen, paddlers and campers.

Jenny Lake Overlook

Named after a Shoshone Indian woman, this glacial moraine jewel at the base of the Tetons is absolutely gorgeous and a must-see!

Schwabacher Landing

Enjoy the sunset with the Teton's reflection in the still water and walk to the beaver ponds where the critters are usually busy.

Although I had a great experience with another company, Yellowstone Day Tours far exceeded my expectations. I believe "Brian" owns the company and his attention to detail, communication, personalization, and accommodating interactions alleviated all my anxiety about any concerns I may have had. The tour guide "Jeff" could not be more suited for this line of work. From the moment I was picked up at my hotel, I knew I was in good hands. He was able to keep everyone in the comfortable tour vehicle engaged, educated, and excited. I saw more wildlife (much up very close) than I had even hoped for. He made sure we had adequate rest stops, a comfortable temperature in the vehicle, binoculars, and (even though I was not there for the "cuisine"), great sandwiches, snacks, and water. I had an awesome time and if I could give this company more than 5 stars, I surely would. Thank you Brian and Jeff! Roxanne

My husband and I enjoyed our tour with Jeff. He had a great personality and made our tour so much fun. He is very knowledgeable about the area and knew just where the great spots were to see wildlife. We saw a grizzly bear, wolves, bald eagles, moose , a well known elk named “ HollyWood “ and many more. It was a small group and that made it nice. This was our favorite day of our trip.

Our tour guide, Stone, was the best! Timely pickup, visited awesome venues, Stone was extremely well informed and shared his knowledge with us. He was professional and courteous while keeping things light. We highly recommend this tour!
