Join us on a truly unique haunted tour of downtown Greenville. Throughout the month of October, Greenville Segway Tours will be offering tours of a more eerie nature. These evening tours start from our downtown location and meander through the haunted paths of the Springwood Cemetery, one of the oldest and most beautiful cemeteries in the upstate area. From there, we continue through historic downtown Greenville and explore haunted buildings, hotels, and mills along the banks of the Reedy River. Book your tour soon!

Minimum age is 15 years old; under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 y/o or older.
Weight limits are AT LEAST 100 lbs. and no more than 260 lbs.

What To Expect

Greenville Glides

Once you enter our office, our friendly staff will show a short safety video about how to ride the Segway and will then assist you in sizing your helmets. Once you are 'geared' up, your tour guide will train everyone, individually, on how to ride the Segway. You will then be a master Segway rider and will head out into beautiful Downtown Greenville and Historic West End taking in the breathtaking views of the city. Your tour guide will lead you to all of the Haunted sites and destinations, explaining exactly what happened and why this area is haunted. Watch out! - you may see a ghost or two. Your tour guide will then allow you to take any and all pictures that you would like - If you want a group picture, ask your tour guide and he would be happy to do so. After learning about all of the Greenville ghosts, you will head back to the office where he will ask if anyone has any questions about the tour or may want to share some information.

West End

Head out into beautiful Downtown Greenville and Historic West End taking in the breathtaking views of the city.

Springwood Cemetery

Springwood Cemetery, one of the oldest and most beautiful cemeteries in the upstate area.

My wife and I came to Greenville to celebrate our 44th anniversary. We signed up for the Segway ghost tour. Although the evening was a bit chilly, it was a blast, Walter, our tour guide did a great job training us and worked hard to keep us safe. He not only shared ghost stories as we went, he was extremely knowledgeable about the downtown Greenville area. Thank you Walter for a great time. We highly recommend the experience, well worth the money.

First of all it will take you for ever to find the place. Since we had ridden on a Segway before the person working there decided we did not need to see the safety video ( our 1st mistake). After he took us out to the garage to practice we went up to the top of the garage. He asked if we really wanted the haunted tour, told him yes and the he started telling us we really didn't! He had his back to me and for some reason I started having issue with the segway, tried to get his attention, but again he was to busy telling my friend why we didn't need the "real" haunted tour & I fell of the segway and hit the floor of the garage.. He just look at me at first laying on the ground, and said, I had a bad feeling about this tour, wish he hadn't taken us out!. Now I am not blaming him for the accident, but if maybe he had paid a little more attention to us instead of looking out across the parking lot he would have realized that I was having an issue. He did help me up and then told us gosh he was going to have to report this to the company ( don't know if he did or not as I never heard from them). He said he didn't know if we could get our money back or not! Then gave us the name of the hospital near to where we were. So now 6 weeks later, I have a $1600.00 ER bill and now having to have PT on my arm and shoulder. So after all of this, all I can say is try if you want but be very careful.

If you are in Greenville and want to explore downtown, you must do this tour! Walter (our tour guide) was incredible and extremely informative and fun! He made each one of us very comfortable on the segways before heading out. We learned many fun facts and it’s the best way to get around downtown. 10/10 recommend!!
