We did the tour with Billy the first week of January. It was very cold but we had a lot of fun. Billy is very knowledgeable and the mix of history of the Village and food in the Village was a great combo. We took the subway from Times Square to the meeting point and it was much easier than I expected. The food was great and, as other reviewers have mentioned, you will be very full. We actually took our Italian sandwiches back with us and ate them for dinner. My only suggestion would be to change the order of the food items. We started out with dessert and chocolate items and the sandwiches were at the end. I would have preferred to start a tour that begins at 12:30 which lunch items (the pizza or the sandwiches) instead of dessert items. We have never done a tour like this before and I definitely would in the future. You go to places you never would otherwise and get some of the local history. We had four people in our group and we really enjoyed our time with Billy.

Jillian was a great guide who mad the tour fun and enjoyable. It was 22F outside, but she kept us moving and fed the entire time. She fed us great food and little tidbits about the Greenwich Village that we all found interesting/intriguing. Teens and up. Little ones may get tired.

Alex was our tour guide and was very upbeat with so much information on the area and all the food we had. Despite reading reviews we were unsure if we would quite get good samples of food but we were wrong, you will be very full after finishing! The pizza was amazing and we loved the mini bagels - although unfortunately there wasn’t many flavours available when we arrived (not the tours fault obviously). The day of our tour it was extremely cold so Alex was sure to make sure we were kept on the move and eating food as quickly as possible, it was great to see the Greenwich area during this as we didn’t expect to get to see as much as we did. We fell in love with the area and returned twice after the tour for our own look around & feeding! Would definitely recommend and would also do this again - or similar - Alex was great and gave us so much information on NYC in general which was greatly appreciated for our first visit.
