While the tour was interesting, and our guide knowledgeable and animated, it was a food tour. The food was good, but not worth the $70 this tour costs over the average price of a two hour tour..

John, so happy that you enjoyed Claire has a guide, but I'm shocked because the usual complaint is that we give our guests too much food! The other gentlemen on your tour (who was a giant lol) this past Wednesday told us how full he was after the tour with Claire. The price of the tour reflects the whole experience...the amazing food of course, but also small group tours that max out at 8 guests (your tour only had 4 + a guide in training) and exploring the awesome history of the Village. As guides we spend years studying NYC. Our tours are an in depth look at these neighborhoods. The experience you had was Greenwich Village, the food is what helps tie together the awesome stories & residents, both past & present, that have called this neighborhood home.

Claire was an awesome tour guide. She was funny and informative. It was in the 20s and she was careful to ensure we didn’t get too cold and worked to keep us out of the wind. Will be watching for some of the visual clues she taught us about in NYC architecture.

Jake, our tour guide, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and took us to the most delicious spots. He made sure every member of our family was happy with the food choices which was very kind! We not only enjoyed all of the yummy food but learned a ton about the neighborhoods we explored. Worth every penny!
