We’ve been to NYC as a family many times and I was looking for something new when I came across Scott’s Pizza Tours. I was a teeny bit skeptical that it would be “cheesy” (pardon the pun” or too “touristy” (despite me being a tourist!). I was happily proven wrong on both counts. Scott is an entertaining and knowledgeable guide who is a master at reading his group. He obviously knows anything and everything about pizza in depth but knows just how much to share depending upon the group’s interest. Loved the little journals to record our pizza tastings and enjoyed the debriefed after each slice. We started at Lombardi’s and ended up in the West Village. Scott gave us the words/structure to be able to describe why we liked this slice or that beyond “it’s good”. All in all a great time for my husband and I and our 12 year old daughter. Well worth the price and the time.

Myself and my wife done the cross town pizza walk and our guide was Peter Van Buren (excellent) we went to 3 stops Lombardi’s, Rubirosa and Fiore’s. Our tour guide was really good as well as a fountain of knowledge about pizza and the restaurants the walk to each place was informative about the different neighbourhoods. These guys really know pizza every pizzeria had a different style and was excellent it’s well worth your time in the city. As a added bonus for us Scott actually came to the first stop with us although he wanted to keep it quiet we busted him but was really nice to meet him. Definitely do this

I'm a native New Yorker and realized I know nothing abut pizza. Truly enjoyed this tour. Our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable.
