What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Dante lead an excellent tour, he is attentive, funny, and knowledgeable. If I was in town longer I would have done another one of his tours!

We chose to do this particular food tour based on previous reviews and are so glad we did. Dante was the perfect host, very knowledgeable and passionate for Greenwich Village, he made us all feel so welcome. And with a group size of around 10 people it felt very personal. As for the food, well that was truly amazing and very authentic. Dante took us to places that we would probably have just walked on by; from pizza to cupcakes, falafel to cookies all was amazing. If you are looking to do a food tour in New York you won’t find better than this. Thank you so much.

Visit a cool and beautiful area of NYC and learn about its history whilst sampling some of the best and most interesting food it has to offer. Best of all, enjoy the company and expertise of Dante who is genuinely interesting, erudite and funny. Hard to think of a more pleasurable way to spend an afternoon in the city.
