What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

We had the pleasure of spending 3 whole days with Dante eating some of the best food NYC has to offer! We had independently planned a foodie tour to NY and we came to Dante hoping to create a custom tour of bakeries and foodie spots in NYC. He surpassed our expectations and facilitated an incredible tour for us. Dante is a SUPER nice guy. He was so informative, knowledgeable and not just about food but about the history of the areas we visited. We asked tons of questions and he was always so helpful. He met us at our hotel each day and delivered us back there each evening, helped us navigate the subway, his wife even baked us cookies! Such a sweet guy. We visited so many places I would have never even noticed let alone gone into and seriously had the best best food. Sweet, savoury and everywhere in between. We did both the Lower East Side Tour and the Greenwich Village Tour and then another day touring Brooklyn. Can't recommend Dante enough! Thanks so much for the tour! Can't wait to come back!

This tour was absolutely perfect. In 3 hours, you can explore the beauty that is Greenwich Village, all the while eating some delicious food at some of the most notable restaurants in the area. Above that, Dante was a great tour leader who provided facts, laughs, and kindness. Would 100% recommend Dante and his tour, will certainly book another one in the near future!
