What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

We recently took the Greenwich Village walking tour, and it was an incredible experience. Our guide, Adam, was amazing—his knowledge of the area and ability to engage with everyone, including our two 7-year-olds, made the tour truly enjoyable. It’s a kid-friendly tour with plenty of bathroom stops and a well-thought-out route. The food was simply outstanding, featuring places we would have never found on our own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting NYC. A solid 10/10. Come hungry!

This tour is exactly what everyone is looking for. History lesson with fantastic food. Adam the tour guide was excellent! Well informed about the neighborhood and the food. I’m so glad I chose the Nice Guy Tours for my wife and I. All the food was amazing and tasted authentic. The cupcakes are delicious! You gotta book this tour you won’t regret it!

This was a great tour with Adam, who really should be doing stand-up comedy as a career! We stopped at five or six great spots to eat, and got a general tour of Greenwich Village and the West Village, along with hotspots like the Friends apartment, the oldest house in NYC, the most narrow house in NYC, the oldest tree in the city, and more. And Larry the pigeon man is something that can't be explained; it has to be experienced! Amazing tour. Highly recommend.
