What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York! It was great fun, informative and the food was superb (the first pizza is especially life changing!!) Our guide kept the pace easy, really knew his stuff, was open to questions and had an excellent sense of humour - and he even helped us find our way on trains afterwards as we were going to a baseball game! 10/10!

Dante does a wonderful job of not only mixing in some history with some fantastic food...he also has a good way of mixing with the various groups of people coming together for the tour in a way that makes it more enjoyable for all. A short walk in between each stop and by the end you will likely have had more food than you need which is a good sign! Remember...this is New York...so don't always expect a chair and a table at each and every stop...and that's OK!

Amazing afternoon with Dante - we ate so much that we even cancelled our dinner reservations. Great way to walk around and sample NY foods and learn about the city. Highly recommended.
