What To Expect

Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

The Stonewall Inn

The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

I’ve taken several tours with Nice Guy, and they are always stellar! After years of trying to get my husband to go with me to NYC, he finally agreed to a long weekend. One of my first choices for a “must do” during his New York experience was a food tour with Dante and Adam. He loved it! These tours allow you to get to know parts of the city more deeply, to learn the history of the area, and of course, enjoy the unique food. Absolutely one of the best ways to explore NYC! Do not miss it…and Nice Guys is the one to choose. (Adam: you made another Texas friend on this trip. We will see you again soon!)

Our Greenwich walking food tour was a great combination of food, fun information about the area and interactive tour guide personality. We enjoyed the (2) pizza tastings, Pom frites, falafel, bagels, arancini, salami and a great sweet finish with a cupcake!! Adam our tour leader was a great host and made you feel very comfortable from start to finish! I would highly recommend this tour.

It was one of the best tours I’ve ever done! Our flight was delayed and Dante was the best at being able to accommodate us the next day and kept in constant communication regarding this! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as the food we ate which was beyond wonderful. Pretty sure we would have never stopped in to most of the restaurants Dante had us go to and now we know we will return to many of these establishments next time we are in NYC! I highly recommend this tour on your next visit to the city!!
