My kids ended up being the only ones in the group lesson so it felt like a private lesson. My kids are 18, 15, and 10. The instructor was so intentional and personable. He watched out for the young one and made sure they all had one on one attention. They had a blast! 10/10 recommend this place!

The instructor was very firm but patient with all of us. The whole experience amazing. I would recommend getting your surfing lessons through them.

Super fun experience for our family of four! (We're two teenagers and middle-aged mom & dad). Our instructor Freddy was friendly, the waves at Lahaina were appropriate for beginners, and we all stood up and caught a wave at least once (some of us caught quite a few waves!) Splurge on the photographs, even if you stand up for just a few seconds, the pictures make you look better than you actually did. Now, if you're looking for negatives to make sure I'm not a bot, well, some of their reef shoes could be replaced, mine had a hole in the toe but they still worked. Also, their boards look as if they've seen their fair share of riders; they're the foam ones for beginners but again, they worked. Nonetheless, I still give a five-star review. When you're in Hawaii and if you've ever wanted to try surfing, this is it! Totally an experience worth sharing with your family.
