My new husband and I are from Alabama and have never been surfing or even out very far on the ocean. With the great guidance of Lucas we were up surfing on our very first wave! He is so encouraging and FUN! I’d highly recommend him for a great time. We now feel confident to go back to the shack for rentals on our own. He is a great teacher and this is a great place for surf lessons. Kylie also took awesome actions shots that are very affordable! Really lucky to have ended up here!

My husband and I did the group lesson. We both had a little bit of surfing experience but hadn't been for ages. Lucas is a great instructor, he's fun and informative and is great at adapting the two hours to whatever level you are at. We only had four in our group which made it fun and meant we all got equal amounts of attention. You also get free board hire for the rest of the day after the lesson. Would recommend!

My kids, ages 16 & 13 did beginner surf lessons with Lucas at the Surf Shack. (We did family lessons a few years ago with Surf Shack & the kids wanted a refresher) They thoroughly enjoyed their time with Lucas and found him to be very helpful, fun and "chill". They said he taught them lots and was a great instructor and "awesome"! Thanks Lucas!!!
