We get to see stunning vistas, travel through history and refresh our minds with the physical rejuvenation that comes from hiking. Our goal is to help you take a load off and share the journey with you. We will take care of all the planning, equipment, gear, know how, trail snacks, and even the gourmet lunch. The day hikes are catered to fit any group, person or family. We have options of a one hour day hike all the way up to a full day hike with lunch provide on the shores of beautiful lake or under the shade of a juniper tree. What an Amazing hike with llamas in Capitol Reef! We had such a fun time walking our beautiful llamas Persy and Tadpole, who were gentle and posed for all our fun photos. We were so excited to feed our llamas treats and hug them at the end. Our friendly guide Phil provided great tips and guidance throughout our private tour. This is a must-do tour when in Capitol Reef with Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas tour operator.

Something different! A great alternative to a traditional hike. We stopped en route from Moab to the Escalante area. Fun was had by all - adults and teens.

My sister and daughter had wanted to do this and I reluctantly agreed, but it was one of the highlights of our trip! A lot of fun. Jeremy and Jerry were excellent guides with a lot of knowledge about llamas and the Capitol Reef landscape. My llama, Zinger, was 3 and being trained. He wasn’t super cooperative at some points as things were new to him (which is completely understandable and to be expected when learning something new). The guides offered to go back and get me a new llama, but I declined. I was completely fine and when It looked like Zinger would have trouble with a section of the trail, the guide would take him and work to get him through. We had so much fun that we are now looking at doing a longer trip. Great experience!
