What To Expect

Bisbee

Our experienced guides will lead you on an e-bike tour through town and share with you the history, art, and architecture of Old Bisbee. You will be provided with a wireless communication earpiece that makes it easy to hear your guide and ask questions. The guided tour will last for one hour and the second hour is for you to explore Bisbee on your own.

Copper Queen Library and observation balconies EST 1882

Guests will see the Bisbee Post Office and Copper Queen Library Building. The building is an example of Renaissance Revival architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They will learn the history of the Copper Queen Library and the interesting story behind how it was established.

Superior Court of Arizona County of Cochise

Riding through town past local restaurants and shops, the tour will stop briefly at the Cochise County Courthouse, an excellent example of the Art Deco style of architecture. Here, guests will learn more of the history of the area and how Bisbee came to be the County seat. The tour will continue to a mural wall by Rose Johnson, a famous muralist from England. Guests will learn about her art in Bisbee, and her tragic death at an early age. From here, guests can return to B Active, or continue exploring Bisbee on their own.

We had a great time and I can’t recommend enough. Our guide was incredible and really knew the history of Bisbee. We enjoyed the history lesson and learned a ton. I would recommend that people who aren’t in decent shape abstain however. Even though the bikes are motorized the hills certainly are still challenging (especially from a balancing standpoint.)

The E bike tour was a great treat. Carey was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide and historian. The views, the history and the fun activity of zipping around on the e- bikes. Going up some of those hills were brutal, even with the electric power. Remember, you are a mile high in elevation and that can effect your pedaling and breathing. I would definitely like to do it again. The equipment was top-notch. It was easy to hear Carey on the blue tooth headsets. I love that she took pictures of us. B Active is a wonderful company to book other activities with for something different to do. One can only do so much window shopping. I love that they also have city golf cart tours for those who would not survive a bike tour. If you have the time go check out the hiking trips they have to offer. I look forward to booking something different next time I am in town. Thanks again to you all.

Took the two hour e bike tour in Bisbee, Az yesterday with John. We had a wonderful and fun day and John was the best ever host. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the history of Bisbee as we rode around enjoying the town and weather. We would highly recommend this tour. Sharon T.
