Overview

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon is a quiet, special place off the beaten path just outside of beautiful Kanab. The quiet serenity of beautiful colored Navajo Sandstone rocks that have taken millions of years to form will take your breath away and leave you wanting more.

This is a group tour, but no combination of groups will exceed 10 travelers so that we can keep the experience affordable and intimate.

What To Expect

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon

On this group tour, (no more than 10 people to keep it affordable and intimate) you will explore the beauty and wonder of Peek a Boo Slot canyon in Kanab, Utah. It's an easy 1.5 mile (2.4K) hike roundtrip through a spectacular slot canyon located about 10 miles north of Kanab. This is a must see while in the Kanab area.

The tour was awsome! Fun 4x4 ride through deep sand to get to the slot canyon, then an easy hike with amazing views inside Red Canyon. Guide was very knowledgeable and quite the character, a lot of fun to be around. Learned about the forces which created the slot canyon and a bit about the local inhabitants who once built a granary there (which has since been lost to flash floods). Highly recommend!

Being a gal who loves independent exploring, I usually hate group tours. However, because I lacked the proper 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate miles of deep sand, I booked a Peekaboo Canyon tour with Coral Cliffs, Our guide Darin was patient, knowledgeable, and thoughtful as he regaled us with lots of stories and facts about this amazing geological formation. As a photographer, I stayed at the back of our small group of four to capture some wonderful pictures, but close enough that I wouldn't miss Darin's most interesting narrative. And, as a senior citizen, when I had one small obstacle to navigate, Darin was there to guide me through an easier descent. Would definitely use this company again when back in Utah.

It was a really amazing trip. The Peek-a-boo canyon is a hidden gem and not crowded. Ou guide Darrin did a great job and showed us a lot of things that we wouldn't have seen alone. Er highly recommend that tour!
