Overview

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon is a quiet, special place off the beaten path just outside of beautiful Kanab. The quiet serenity of beautiful colored Navajo Sandstone rocks that have taken millions of years to form will take your breath away and leave you wanting more.

This is a group tour, but no combination of groups will exceed 10 travelers so that we can keep the experience affordable and intimate.

Great for any age group that can walk ~1 mile on relatively flat, but unpaved terrain.
Not recommended for individuals who struggle with off-road bumpy, windy car rides.

What To Expect

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon

On this group tour, (no more than 10 people to keep it affordable and intimate) you will explore the beauty and wonder of Peek a Boo Slot canyon in Kanab, Utah. It's an easy 1.5 mile (2.4K) hike roundtrip through a spectacular slot canyon located about 10 miles north of Kanab. This is a must see while in the Kanab area.

We had Sherwin as our guide. He was great and very knowledgeable about the slot canyon history. We went at 8am and there was only two other people with us which was nice. Sherwin also gave us some recommendations for things to see during our visit to Kanab.

We had a great time on the slot canyon tour. Our guide (I believe his name was Kyle) was very knowledgeable about the history, formation, flora/fauna of the area. He also knew great spots for pictures. The slot canyon is super cool and very photogenic. The colors, the shapes, the layers and curves. The hike is pretty easy too, accessible to kids and probably to the somewhat mobility challenged. We ran a half marathon in the morning and were able to do the tour on sore legs in the afternoon no problem at all. The ride in is bumpy for sure. You need 4wheel drive to get in.
