Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon is a quiet, special place off the beaten path just outside of beautiful Kanab. The quiet serenity of beautiful colored Navajo Sandstone rocks that have taken millions of years to form will take your breath away and leave you wanting more.

This is a group tour, but no combination of groups will exceed 10 travelers so that we can keep the experience affordable and intimate.

What To Expect

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon

On this group tour, (no more than 10 people to keep it affordable and intimate) you will explore the beauty and wonder of Peek a Boo Slot canyon in Kanab, Utah. It's an easy 1.5 mile (2.4K) hike roundtrip through a spectacular slot canyon located about 10 miles north of Kanab. This is a must see while in the Kanab area.

We went with our 3 year old and 6 year old and my 69 year old mother and the tour was perfect! Laura was so warm and friendly and so great with the kids! She showed my 6 year old some cool fossils and areas to climb and he absolutely loved it! He kept saying "BEST BIRTHDAY TRIP EVER!!!" The duration of the tour was short enough that we had the rest of the day to relax and enjoy too.

Two of us took a morning tour of Peckaboo Slot Canyon outside of Kanab. We booked at the last moment and Jeff was quick to respond to my initial inquiry. He answered all my questions. We met at the trailhead because we were staying outside of Kanab. Julie, Jeff’s wife was our ‘tour guide.’ She was on time, knowledgeable, easy to be with, and clearly loves the amazing canyon country. It was a wonderful couple of hours. They use 4 wheel vehicles, not ATVs. We had the canyon to ourselves for the first hour; Julie showed us geological features; answered questions and took GREAT pictures (we told her to list photography as one of their services). They focus on private grounds (only two of us) and their pricing was so reasonable. I can’t say enough good things about the experience. We left with a long list of places to visit with their company when we return. And, Peckaboo is amazing—so beautiful.

Julie was a great guide. She knew to start early in the day so for most of our hike there was no one else around. Her knowledge of the area is fantastic. She even led us to the only hoodoo in the area (don't worry Julie, we won't give your secret away!). Peekaboo canyon is such a picturesque place. Thanks for a fantastic day.
