My husband and (both in our 50ās)I went on this outing together following a guide. My husband had a blast driving one of the vehicles and I enjoyed being a passenger. Our guide was Braden and he was very nice. I loved that he knew the best places to take pictures and he got some great ones of us. There is an uphill hike in sand to get to the Great Chamber (second stop). I am horribly out of shape but my husband and Braden waited patiently while I took several rest and water breaks. The company does provide water but I was glad I brought my water bottle to keep it cool. I would recommend a small backpack to keep water bottles, hair ties or clips (due to wind when weāre hiking to the Great Chamber), sunscreen and chapstick (preapplyā¦you get covered in sand along the way making it hard to apply as you go), and some cash for a tip. I wish I had also worn hiking pants or my yoga pants because the seat were hot wearing shorter shorts (initially). It was a fun and different outing for us.
