This hike was amazing—especially for berry enthusiasts! We picked the juiciest, sweetest wild blackberries and huckleberries along the trail. The hike through the forest was beautiful, with eagles overhead and our guide, Andrew, sharing interesting insights about the area. If you love fresh berries and nature, this tour is a must!

I was convinced by my guide of the historic tour to tag along to Tongass on my third day in town. Worth every minute! It was not quite berry season when I went, but the guide -- Andrew! -- brought along a tasty snack to make up for that! Gorgeous views. Did not know Sitka was considered part of a rainforest!

I was a solo traveler and found the hike to be extremely enjoyable with a friendly guide. I'm coming back this year with my family. It is an easy hike so extremely accessible. Hopefully this time I'll be lucky enough to spot an eagle, which I was unable to see the first time.
