My horse laid down on me, not once but twice! Fortunately, I was able to get out from under āButtercup,ā with only a few bruises. The wrangler did come over to check on me but when he did the 2nd time he left his horse unattended. When Buttercup got up, she took off running, then the wranglerās horse took off, then my sonās girlfriendās horse took off with her on it!!! She was heard yelling for help on top of another mountain. She had fallen off, sustained a concussion (the 2 of us were wearing helmets, thankfully), huge hematoma, bruising. We called rescue & when they pulled in, the wrangler left to look for his phone. He didnāt stay to report anything, conveniently disappeared, probably afraid of the police, although he did radio all incidents to his boss. This was a few weeks ago & still nobody has reached out to us to check on us. And apparently, Buttercup is known for laying down with riders on her. Why use a horse that does that??? Very irresponsible & negligent for this company to let people ride her!!! Definitely do not recommend this company!!!!
