This is my second time going on this tour. The first time was something to break up our guys trip in Denver and a alternate way to see the mountains.
This time I took another friend because of the same reasons.
I chose Saturday 1pm as that was enough time in case of a previous late night or if you wanted to catch an early breakfast.
Our pickup was at the convention center which was a few blocks from our hotel (under the blue bear, can't miss it).
Vick was our driver and guide and pointed out important places along the drive up to the mountain.
I can't remember last time if I chose beginner but this time I chose intermediate. I'm in relatively good shape, but I struggled this time unlike the last time.
We were given some safety and additional riding tips before we got started.
Helmets, gloves, water and snack was provided.
Vick was great at stopping and checking in on how we (I) was doing.
The top of our climb we stopped for pictures and video, which Vick was kind enough to take since we didn't bring our phones.
Going down remeber Vick will go faster or slower depending on who is second in line.
The ride has enough turns and dips to give you some excitement and just enough danger to raise the adreniline.
After the ride we stopped at the headquarters and had a beer at the bar connected to the office, great patrons and staff.
Vick gave us a ride back and talked about any additional landscapes we may have missed.
I highly recommend this tour as a great mountain tour and nice activity to break up your typical trip to Denver.
I will probably do this trip any time I come to Denver.
