The tour advertises a bioluminescent lagoon. What they deceptively did not mention is that there is a season for bioluminescence occurring and we were well out of that season. So no bioluminescence.

Hi Greg, I'm not sure where you are getting this information. The tour is a night LED kayak tour where we take you into the mangrove mazes is clear LED light kayaks to see nocturnal sea life. No where is it stated this is a "bioluminescence". The name of the tour uses the word luminous which means full of or shedding light which the LED's do on a clear kayak by definition. Hope this helps!

Very cool idea and location. Not an experience for all skill levels as advertised. Paddlers need some experience with kayaks and currents. Navigating in the dark through the tunnels of trees for 2 hours can be exhausting and frustrating for novice kayakers. The tour guides are excellent, but there is only so much they can do if you can't control your boat
