I had some time while my husband was working on July 4th so decided to take the Noble Jones Civil War Tour. What a tour it was! Living in Savannah there is so much history to learn...I have been a history buff all my life....this tour was amazing! Kelse brought out facts that were not taught in any class I have ever experienced. The tour does not "take sides" but just gives the facts... Kelse was our guide...he has done extensive research on the Civil War and Savannah's place in that war....he makes it all "come alive" for you....this tour encourages you to follow up with your own research to get the true story of a very difficult time in our U.S. History.... I look forward to the other tours offered by Noble Jones Tours.

My husband (who is a Civil War buff) and I really enjoyed our tour with Kelse Palko, our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about Savannah's role in the war and the war in general. He explained the Southern viewpoint in a very diplomatic fashion. This was quite interesting to two Ohioans! We went on another Civil War tour in Savannah a few years ago with another tour company and the guide was terrible, biased would be putting it mildly. I would highly recommend Kelse's tour. Don't take a chance with any other guide!

A fascinating and informative tour of Savannah's Civil War history. I know a fair amount about the Civil War, though not a "buff". Kelse was a terrific, knowledgable and entertaining guide. He balanced very carefully and fairly between the Northern and Southern sides of the conflict, though of course he did talk much more about its effect on the South, which was what I wanted to learn. ƅlso, he could answer any question about Savannah's history. The tour took 1.5 hours, we walked about two miles, easy stroll, no steps, and lots of shade in Savannah's beautiful squares (it was a hot and humid day). Highly recommended! My husband took the Savannah Stroll tour while I took this, and he really enjoyed that.
