Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

My 29 year ols daughetr and I had a GREAT time obeserving the manatees! Capt JOE and crew were awesome in explaining what we were going to see, and because it was summer, manatees spread out all over FL, we knew we weren't going to see a heard. They were good at finding the seacows and getting us right up to them. They are increadible animals. Small group size (max 6 per boat), all the gear was good, and they even take pics (cost $40 to link to site), we paid, they are beautiful memories. Do not expect to get up and close pics with manatess, they are not props. Just an observation, small kids may not be able to keep up with the manattes, they dont stay still, and be careful with location on google maps, they are really 10 minutes away from that marina, luckily Capr Joe answered the phone and gave us correct address.

What an awesome experience. Definitely the highlight of our 3 week Florida road trip. We booked the 6:30am small group trip and were the only 4 people in the water plus our guide/photographer. The captain and guide spotted a mum and baby as soon as we arrived in the area and we slipped into the water. The baby immediately came over and felt very comfortable with us and especially our guide. She tried to cuddle as much as a manatee can manage to do that. We spend a long time with her as she just swim up to us and very closely under us. We thought she was big until the 2000pound mama approached us. Wow!! No photo could do justice to mama in one frame. A male manatee arrived just before we got on the boat. We slowly went down to the Three Sister Springs on the boat to check out the water gushing from below the earth. We swam the last bit and then entered the beautiful clear blue water. As we swam from one spring to the next we spotted another manatee and turtle which was unexpected. He was munching away on the green grass and we spend some time there before returning to the boat utterly satisfied. Going back to the harbour we spotted a dolphin. I highly recommend this company and our captain’s were awesome and lovely to talk to. The attached photos were all taken by our guide.

We really enjoyed our tour. Just six of us on the boat. Range of wetsuits available. Excellent quality snorkelling gear, with great de-mister. The girls looking after us were efficient and friendly and found us several manatees to observe at close quarters, despite it being off season. Apparently February is the best time to go. Our only regret was letting our Britishness get in the way of asking for more photos. The photo package was very reasonable to purchase. They recommended the Waterfront Social for lunch, which did have nice food.
