Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

AMAZING is the only way to describe Gulf Coast Expedition's swim with the Manatees! Captain Ron was very knowledgeable! With only 6 people on each tour you get a very intimate experience! Both Captain Ron and Greg made sure each of us had an amazing time! If you want to be more than just a number this is the place to go!

“Fantastic” 5 of 5 IF WE COULD RATE HIGHER WE WOULD Swimming with the manatees with Captain Ron was an experience of a lifetime. You can tell he really enjoys his job as he is totally committed to making your trip a memorable one. My wife and her sister were very hesitant and had some panic attacks when getting in the water. Caption Ron spent time with them individually, calming them down and reassuring them. Before long they were swimming along. There are only six people on Captain Rons trips so it's very personable. You don't get this on most other trips because they take large groups. Captain Ron gets right in the water and is constantly there even photographing and taking videos.It seems that other groups were on their own. He also remembers everyone's name . He is truly a special person and you can tell that not only is this a business for him ,it's to educate people and preserve this valuable resource. We sincerely thank him and Greg for a memorable experience.
