Less history of the buildings and more history of the people. Good guide though. Maybe also if he was dressed in costume like the other tour guides.

Appreciate your comments. What differentiates us is the added feature of architecture which we try to keep as part of the historic context. The "current day" dress is meant to indicate we have today's vision in looking at the history.

What kind of disappointed that we didn’t follow the red line exactly. We went on and off it and we didn’t get to go into any other sites. Took a walk before and was able to go into science and learn a little bit more history. The tour guy did a good job but the route really disappointed me. I would recommend the tour group that the people dress up. You actually go in to some of the sites and you start at the Boston Common and work your way downtown. This tour started in the middle of the city and you ended up in Boston commons and you’re out of the popular areas. Had to walk back to eat lunch.

There is a lot to digest here, so let me do them in sequence. We do include added sites and stories that we think add to the Boston Experience that are not officially a part of the Freedom Trail, like the founding of Boston, how it changed over time and some of the more historic buildings and stories that reflect the flavor of Boston. We DO include all the Freedom Trail Sites between Faneuil Hall and Boston Common, plus a lot more. Sorry our dress style did not suit you, but I am not sure how that would influence what you see and hear. And just so you know, many folks consider the Boston Common to be the ACTUAL center of Boston and there are certainly lots of places to eat. Would have been glad to suggest some had you asked.
