I think you get so much more from having a guide on something like the Freedom Trail than you did if you just walked it yourself, even with a book. We did the Freedom Trail with Alan, and he was outstanding. He really knew his stuff and made it fascinating along with some humor. He happily answered any question. There is so much history in this city. We did the "extended tour" which took us through the Boston Commons parks, near Beacon Hill and the Cheers bar, and ended up near the Boston Public Library. I highly recommend this tour if you are in Boston.

Our tour guide, Jeremiah, was excellent and despite the rain I hung on to every thing he said. He brought history to life.

Nicely done and guide was good at everything. Projected voice well, great knowledge and super professional colonial high end outfit costume.
