This was just the right amount of walking and information. Guide was knowledge and entertaining. Loved it!

Chris, our guide, AKA Salem Poor, was fantastic. Even though the heat index was high, he didn’t hurry or become impatient. He thoroughly immersed himself in his character. Anecdotes, corny jokes and snippets of humor were sprinkled with a plethora of historical facts for 90 minutes of light learning. Salem fielded all questions with a ready answer. Participants ranged from youngsters to the more mature. The pace was spot on for everyone. We got our tickets as part of a package deal with a Boston Go Card. I highly recommend visitors to Boston make this part of their “must-do” list.

Our guide was articulate and held everyone's attention, including the upper elementary aged children. He obviously loved history and had a lively style that kept us focused on history. The pace was just right, and he managed to keep us dry in the rain. We planned to do just half the tour, but it was so good we added the second half.
