We had never been to Boston so we wanted to go on a walking tour around the city to learn all that we could. The city is very clean and easily walk able. Our tour guide led us around the city to many very historical sights to see famous buildings, restaurants, and graveyards. We were only on the 1 hour tour but the others stayed on the tour for another hour to see Coplay Square, I wish I would've known about the second half of the tour because I would've bought tickets for it. We would've loved to continue learning about the city.

Tour was an easy pace and we saw many of the main attractions. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history, buildings, events which have shaped Boston. He was easy to hear and knew where to go to show us the best views. The only down side was the guide's tendency to give too many of his own political and religious views. He may have been very passionate on these topics but I was much more interested in the buildings and the history. 2 people actually left our tour due to this. It was a shame on what was otherwise a great introduction to the Freedom Trail.

Andrew was our guide and we enjoyed his in-depth knowledge of the people, players and social settings of the Revolutionary period. The information he shared seemed more accurate and less sugar-coated than other "histories" we've heard. Furthermore, he made the characters more relatable on a human level which really made the history come alive.
