What To Expect

Gordon River Greenway

Board the iconic Double Sunshine at Tin City Waterside Shops off Naples' famous 5th Ave South. From Tin City Shops, you will cruise along the Gordon River out to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Along the way, you will enjoy a historical commentary including the colorful stories and interesting facts about Naples founding community. Then you will have the opportunity to admire the historic buildings and the millionaire mansions in Port Royal, home to many of well-known Naples “snowbirds”.

Keewaydin Island

Take in the amazing beauty of a southwest Florida sunset with captivating views of the Gulf of Mexico, Keewaydin Island, and wildlife that could include dolphins, a variety of birds and seasonally manatee. You will love moving freely throughout the boat to get the best view capturing memories that will last a lifetime! Restrooms are available on the boat, along with snacks and refreshments for purchase on board too.

Pure Florida

This 90-minute cruise will return you back to Tin City Waterside Shops where you can enjoy shopping in one of the 30 different unique shops or eating at one of the three delicious restaurants. You can also walk and enjoy shopping or eat on 5th Ave South, Naples most famous street! Interesting sights: • Wildlife including but not limited to dolphins, big variety of birds, manatees (seasonal) • Beautiful Keewaydin Island • Gulf of Mexico views • Port Royal Mansions

Beautiful, well guided tour of the bay and Gulf. We even had a pod of dolphins escort us back after the sunset. Very recommended!

Down to SWFL for a week vacation to celebrate our 25th anniversary, we looked forward to a casual sunset experience on the Gulf Coast. Pure Florida delivered exactly that aboard the Double Sunshine. We learned a good deal about the local geography, history of Naples, and mangrove forests. On the way out to the Gulf we made it around some waterfront homes of the ultra rich. Sunset part of cruise lasted only about ten minutes but photo opportunities abound. Bar on board boat served bottled beer. Tasteful “yacht rock” played at appropriate times. Narration was clear and informative. Parking a block away in Tin City was plentiful. Lots of waterfront dinner options available before or after cruise. Great casual experience!

However, the narration was not clear enough to understand and the volume of the staff was not amplified so the entire group could hear all that was stated. The sunset in the gulf only lasted 5-10 minutes so the remaining time was there and back and a few homes along the canals detailed as to who lived where and why houses were there and a little history. Good but could be better.

Thanks for leaving us a review! We just replaced the sound system onboard the Double Sunshine so that the sound from the Captain and crew is more amplified so that all passengers are able to hear clearly. The sightseeing and sunset tour does include both a tour of the area while settling in the gulf of mexico.
