• Be physically capable of enduring this outdoor activity
• Be free of any medications that may cause drowsiness
• Not be pregnant
• Not weigh over 270 lbs.

My son, son in law and I did the morning self guided tour. Great experience and would do it again. Informative bus ride up the volcano. We liked the self guided tour since we could go at our own pace, which was quite fast. We made it from the drop off point back to Haiku in about 1.5 hrs. The bikes were in great shape. Not too many cars so we felt very safe coming down the hill. Highly recommend.

Excellent day cruising down the Volcano. The bikes were in Excellent condition. The safety briefing was very thorough. There's 3 very short sections (around 50-100yrds each) where you have to pedal. Or you can choose to just jump off and walk a little. This excursion is worth every penny!

We were actually very disappointed in our experience. We enjoyed the tour but were told last minute we could not be picked up even though we paid for pickup. We were told getting an Uber to and from the bike shop would be an easy process. It cost us 180$ and getting a Lyft out of there took us an hour. I even asked the bike rental shop for help securing a cab. She handed me a phone number that did not work. Very sad with how guests are treated. We will not be recommending this company to any of our friends or family vacationing in Maui.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and bike ride. It is unfortunate that the pickup was unavailable and do apologize for the inconvenience. Of course pickup fees will be refunded when that service is not provided. Unfortunately, due to the capacity restrictions enforced by the county do to the COVID pandemic, we do not have the usual resources available to provide these services to the extent that we normally would. Same reason why rental cars are currently unavailable on the island. We do recommend to all those traveling to Maui in the near future to book your rental car early to ensure availability.
