The bike ride down the volcano is so worth it. Eddie-body our tour guide driver from the store to up the top of Haleakala so helpful. He give us easy to remember tips while we cruised down back to the store.

Must do! This was definitely a highlight of our trip. The 2am wake up is well worth it. The sunrise at the top of the volcano was an incredible experience, and the pictures we were able to take were amazing! It was 40F at the summit which we were told was warm, so plan accordingly. All employees were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Marlon was our guide and had no shortage of stories and fun facts to share, it was truly an incredible experience!!

From 10,000 feet elevation and 35 F, to sea level and 85 F all in one morning! It's cold watching the sunrise, then you warm up in the van and head down the mountain at your own speed. Ride a bit then stop for breakfast with a view for a recharge. Ride a bit further and stop in a town to look around and grab a donut. Then keep heading downhill to the bike shop. Exhilerating and memorable.
