What an amazing little adventure to go on, the journey all starts from the very beginning, our driver Marlin was an excellent guide for the early morning start with local knowledge and a whole lot of laughs that made the trip something special, thanks, Marlin. Sunrise at the top was epic but remember to pack warm because it gets pretty cold up the top there but well worth the early morning rise. The bike ride is next-level epic, the down Hill Road biking is brilliant, you can get plenty of speed up and smash through the mountains, and you can take your time and stop along the way, worth every penny. We had an amazing experience with Bike Maui. The entire check in and preparation process was seamless. Our shuttle ride up the mountain with Eddie was entertaining and informative, which is tough to do at 3:30 AM. We learned so much about the history of Hawaii and the volcano and different land forms and various Hawaiian legends. He kept it light with some fun jokes. I also truly appreciated their attention to safety. Eddie emphasized safety without making it seem boring and it still was a great adventure. The route is also very thoughtfully planned as far as teaching you how to bike down so you do not get lost. By the time we got to the top and were ready to bike down, I had easily remembered the various turns they pointed out for us. They also have people circling the route to make sure you don't get lost, and also to remind you of certain trouble areas to watch out for. I loved the self-guided experience because it allowed us to stop and smell the flowers, check out the fruit stands, and grab some delicious famous malasadas! The views were insane. It was easily our favorite activity on the island during our vacation. Highly recommend.

An amazing experience! Our driver was chatty and very entertaining while also being extremely knowledgeable about the area. My girlfriend and I loved every bit of the experience. We opted for the sunrise and self guided bike tour and felt we were in great hands the entire time. Our driver who I can't recall his name(14 years of experience and tall) was very good about taking photos of us and ensuring we had a good time. I would totally recommend this to anyone visiting Maui!!!
