Haleakala Unguided

Overview

This tour is for those who want to bike down by themselves at their own pace. The bike route is exactly the same as our Cycle to the Sea tour. It runs from 8 am to about 11:30 am. We take you up to an elevation of 6700' above sea level, give you instructions, then equip you with awesome Trek Hybrids and BIKING helmets...not full face motorcycle helmets. We leapfrog ahead you every 7 miles and wait for you, in case you want something to eat or drink, bike adjustment, or to take some pictures.We do this all the way down, so we are always close by. We are the only company that offers this service.

An amazing 25 mile downhill bike ride using our top of the line 2020 Trek hybrids with actual biking helmets...NOT full face motorcycle helmets that all the other companies make you wear.

Matt was an awesome host! The reviews are right on. Great new bikes, helmets, wind gear! Everything in good condition. Tasty homemade muffins, local inspired snacks. Felt like a friend showing you around town. Also such an awesome exhilarating experience a must do while in Maui. Bombers is definitely a more personalized feel. Highly recommend

This was an excellent ride! It was so much fun riding down the mountain that we did it twice! The unguided tour is great for everyone. Matt and Alex were fantastic, good at directing but let us do our own thing. They provided us with whatever equipment we wanted/needed and snacks and drinks. They were very knowledgeable about the island and gave us lot's of information on what we were seeing on the drive up as well as answering questions as to what we should do while there. After seeing the other tours on the route I am soooo glad we went with Maui Bombers! Their equipment and bicycles are top notch and their customer service was beyond reproach, book with these guys, you will be so happy you did :)
