Half Day Atlanta City Tour

Overview

This tour was created to give visitors an overview of the city of Atlanta, this is one of Peachy Keen Tourism most popular tours. For guests that want to discover history, culture, education, and experience the city, this tour was created to give guests an introduction to the city. This all inclusive tour will make two stops. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning we enter inside of Georgia's Governor Mansion. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we enter into Presidential Jimmy Carter Museum Library Center. All other days we will enter into Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Park or Ponce City Market. All entry fees into attractions are included in this tour. Atlanta City Tour is an educational tour created to give you a historic view of Atlanta. Our guests travel to Buckhead, Midtown, and Downtown Atlanta.

Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site

Martin Luther King Jr., National Historic Park is situated on Auburn Avenue. Guests will see Ebenezer Baptist Church, the Eternal Flame, and the gravesite of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Coretta Scott King. The Birth Home is a must see, come and see the home of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Grandfather, Rev. AD Williams

Georgia Governor's Mansion

Check out Georgia Governor's Mansion. Peachy Keen Tourism guests will tour the first floor of Governor Mansion. Guest will see the grand dinning room, kitchen, and gardens.

Atlanta History Center

Atlanta History Center is awesome, guests will see the Swan House, museums, the Cyclorama, and the Swan Coach House.

Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum

The Carter Center is exciting, Peachy Keen Tourism will drive past the gardens of the Carter Center Library Museum. Guests will tour the Museum, lakes and, Rose Garden.

Peachtree City

This grand tour will travel from north Atlanta to South Atlanta on our world famous Peachtree Street, once completed guests will have seen the city of Atlanta

The Fabulous Fox Theatre

The Fabulous Fox Theatre is awesome, guests will see location and entrance to Atlanta fox Theatre on Peachtree Street

My guide Shelly was phenomenal. The history that she expelled was unmatched. Shelly shared the history of Atlanta from the 1800's through today. From the cuisine, to the politicians, the locals the communities, the neighborhoods and even to the celebrities. I felt like I was riding a time machine. Best tour ever. Thank you Shelly.

We make a point of taking city tours when we travel. This one failed to meet our expectations for a number of reasons. First, the van we travelled had a badly slipping transmission, cracked windshield and malfunctioning running board for entry and exit. Our tour guide, while a charming and engaging person, injected personal opinions and side views most everything on the trip. We had hoped for more factual and relevant information regarding Atlanta. Our stop for food came 4 hours into the tour and left little time to enjoy the experience.

Atlanta Special Interest Tour is about the city of Atlanta, this four hours tours travel throughout the city of Atlanta. Guests exit van on several occasions, we determine the time guests exit the van.
