My husband, son, and son's friend took the half day Big Horn Sheep trip. They very much enjoyed it! The water was high and flowing fast, but Mario was experienced and got them through safely. They both got tossed out at one point, but they were able to re-enter the boat safely. They said Mario was lots of fun and gave great information / instructions, history, and stories about the area. He even offered to let them try their hand at steering the boat at the end. My only complaint is the pictures. The other groups that went that day seem to have great pictures, but the photographs of our boat are not so good. There were two large men in the front (not with our group) and they hid all the other passengers in many of the photos. There are a couple of decent pictures, but for $25 for one picture or $50 for the entire group, I feel it's a bit expensive. But... they both say that the next time we are there, they are definitely doing it again and bringing their friends as well. Coming from two 17 year old boys, that tells you this is a trip well worth taking - teenage boys are hard to please. LOL They offer two pieces of advice - wear sunscreen! (DS was too much in a hurry and missed his legs. The blisters are proof of his haste) and make sure your shoes fit tight or they may be donated to the river.
