Our tour guide, Luke Skywalker (not joking), was amazing. He had great jokes, engaged us (the riders), and joined in on the conversations. He informed us all of the names of the rapids in the river as a tour, spun us in circles to add more fun to the ride, and splashed us with his paddle. In general, this company offers a longer trip, starting father down the river and ending at the same place as many other big rafting companies. It also offers more activities along the way, including “cliff” jumping, swimming, etc. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

We Absolutely loved our rafting trip with journey quest! They were very helpful when we called to book and very responsive via email even after hours. The guides were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide, Nate even gave my teenager a quick lesson on how to guide the raft. Nate was also very cautious and attentive to my 8 yr old and ensured he felt included and safe. We will definitely recommend journey quest to our friends and family and we will definitely use them for our next rafting trip!

Very professional and kind when registering and helpful with directions. Had some wifi difficulty and I had to call back for confirmatory email though. Really like the easy online waiver process! Texas Creek site has no facilities really. There isn't really a changing room (partial plywood structure, dirt floor, no roof, no door only...) And office is small portable shed structure unmanned. Single port-a-potty. Would be helpful to explain need to come in swim wear as no facilities. Having said that, great guides, friendly, laid back, personable. Great safety talk. Felt very comfortable with them. Their equipment is a bit dated, but was adequate. Our float was just right (first time for 12 year old daughter), mix of thrilling whitewater but not too crazy. Daniel was guide-superb. Prepared us for upcoming rapids. Just felt totally safe. Made it really fun. Weather was perfect. Saw group of 15 bighorn sheep near river. I liked that he prayed for our trip before and after. Was honoring and asked permission. Given a generous discount so felt like it was great value for our family of 6.
